Mining and Geology

AMEC Minproc’s world renowned team of geologists, resource analysts and mining engineers has completed over 200 minerals studies around the world. The team has extensive experience in exploration programs, mineral resource estimation, mine design, planning and operations, for both open pit and underground applications, and work closely with clients’ in-house metallurgists and design engineers to produce feasibility studies, expert reports, technical reviews and audits of existing studies and operations.

Process Engineering

AMEC Minproc has a proven track record in delivering successful projects with varied technologies. Our focus is on mastering unit processes and applying them across a range of commodities. We deliver complex projectss projects from concept to comissioning regardless of the size or location.

In particular, AMEC Minproc’s process engineering team is highly regarded for its skills in gold extraction technology, pressure hydrometallurgy and solvent extraction/electrowinning capabilities, in the nickel, copper, zinc and mineral sands industries.

Clients can access full service capability in project management, procurement, logistics, safety, construction management and commissioning. AMEC Minproc will consider commercial arrangements ranging from fully reimbursable (EPCM) contracts to fixed price (EPC) contracts.

Project Animations

Customised project animations enable clients to visualise the impact, size and scope of projects, metallurgical processes and complex underground mining layouts through fly throughs, working models and development sequences.

Using proprietary techniques, resource models, and mine designs, plant andsite layouts can be converted rapidly into three-dimensional, animated computer models and incorporated into presentations illustrating a client's current or planned operation.
